Gift boxes with lids are the most elegant way to present jewelry, and this handcrafted keepsake box turns that idea into a luxury moment. Outside, a clean ivory box with a single calligraphy monogram on the lid. Inside, deep burgundy velvet, a necklace bust, two ring and earring pads, a blessing written across the lid lining and the couple’s names with their date.
Every box is made by hand from rigid board, leatherette and velvet in our own workshop in Morocco, where we have been creating wedding and engagement presentation pieces for more than 15 years. The box is covered in smooth ivory leatherette with neat, straight edges. When it is closed, the only decoration is a black calligraphy monogram in the center of the lid, built from the couple’s initials. It is minimal, modern and very chic.
Open the lid and the mood changes completely. The inside is lined in rich burgundy velvet, framed by a soft white edge. The contrast between ivory and burgundy is what gives this box its luxurious feel.
The inner lid panel carries the monogram again, in white, above a line of Arabic calligraphy wishing the couple blessing and happiness together. You can keep this traditional wedding blessing or choose your own words.
A velvet necklace bust rises from the base to display a necklace or a pendant. Next to it, two round pads hold rings or a pair of earrings. Together they present a full jewelry set the way a fine jeweler would.
The couple’s names are written in white calligraphy in the corner of the tray, with the date below. Every name, every number and the style of the lettering are personalized for your order.
