The story behind Zaghareet
The first thing people ask about Zaghareet is our name: it comes from the zaghrouda, the joyful ululation heard at every Moroccan celebration. Zaghareet was born from a love of Moroccan craftsmanship and of that joy. For more than 15 years we have been making celebration gifts by hand in our own workshop.
What started with handcrafted gift boxes has grown into a full celebration marketplace, connecting people with everything they need for a wedding, a henna night, an engagement, a birth, a graduation or any occasion worth marking. Everything we make ourselves is personalised and made by hand, with the same care we would want for our own family’s celebrations.
And for everything we do not make ourselves, we work with a trusted network of professionals who share the same standard. What we want you to remember about Zaghareet is simple: wherever you are and whatever you celebrate, you are taken care of. Our work draws on the traditions of Moroccan culture, from calligraphy to sweets.
